Estonia police clearance certificate

Hello good people,trust everyone is doing well. So I have been stuck at the NVC stage because of my police clearance certificate for Estonia where I resided for 9 months back in 2018-2019. I don’t know which and how exactly the police clearance certificate for immigration purposes should look like. All two I have uploaded before have been rejected. Please can anyone help me with the exact description of the document ? I could be doing the wrong thing unknowingly.

nb: what I applied for was from karistusregister, states I am

not registered in criminal record, and signed by karistusregister specialist. This too has been rejected , so right now I am

stuck and need help on what to do and how to get the required document . Thanks

Fees:  Once a year it is free of charge and then it costs about 4 euros

Document Name: Karistusregistri teade

Issuing Authority: Estonian Punishment Register (Karistusregister) 

Special Seal(s) / Color / Format: An official record contains a wet seal and indicates if the individual has been registered in the criminal records of the Estonian State Police Board.

Issuing Authority Personnel Title: Registrite ja Infosüsteemide Keskus

Registration Criteria: There are no registration criteria

Procedure for Obtaining: Persons residing outside of Estonia may request a record by mail or email. Mailing address is: Punishment Register, Lõkke 4, Tallinn, Estonia. Residents of Estonia can do it electronically by signing in to Eesti.ee

Certified Copies Available: Certified copies are available

Alternate Documents: There are no alternate documents

Exceptions: None

Comments: A clean certificate does not necessarily mean that an individual has never been arrested; records of all but the most serious offenses are routinely expunged after several years. For U.S. visa purposes, applicants should obtain Karistusregistri tõend with archived information (i.e., it must say ‘yes’ or ‘jah’ to including archived information).

Hi, 

thanks for your prompt response. I have gone through this reciprocity document stage to get the document, yet it’s been rejected , I don’t know if it’s the wrong document I have, I am just so confused right now. I don’t even know what NVC requires as Estonian criminal record . Should be apostilled? Translated only by Estonian sworn translator ? How should the document be ? Wet seal etc.

Unfortunately I don't know other than what the DoS site says.

 

It says certified copies are available, have you tried getting one of those?

Please I am facing the same challenge, have you been able to get the correct Estonian Police Certificate document ?, I really need your help on this as I am also stuck.
