TBone - I hope this is the case for you as well. Maybe if she got it all too soon she would have freaked... Maybe it will turn up a little later but that extra time will allow her more time to think and let things sink in... Who knows? I just think that if things are meant to be then they will work out, sometimes in ways you least expect.

Uh, Aly, had your papers hit in early June, you might only now be hearing your first word about them, si man.

Had I waited until later July to file, we could have been approved by October/November, sigh man.

Of course, dead silence from DHL and from the (?) ex, sucks man.

The saddest thing about the worst-case scenario (break-up) is that we bought our beautiful wedding bands early, in Ecuador, and she insisted that we have her name engraved inside mine and mine inside hers... What is the protocol here -- she keeps her engagement ring but should return the wedding band? This is break-hearting to think about, but about the only thing TO think about. I do hope that she will consent to a personal visit by me once more.

Day One: Went to Council of Elrond. Was prettiest person there. Agreed to follow some tiny little man to Mordor to throw ring into volcano. Very important mission - gold ring so tacky.

Day Six: Far too dark in Mines of Moria to brush hair properly. Am very afraid I am developing a tangle.

Orcs so silly.

Still the prettiest.

Day 35: Boromir dead. Very messy death, most unnecessary. Did get kissed by Aragorn as he expired. Does a guy have to get shot full of arrows around here to get any action? Boromir definitely not prettier than me. Cannot understand it. Am feeling a pout coming on.

Frodo off to Mordor with Sam. Tiny little men caring about each other, rather cute really.

Am quite sure Gimli fancies me. So unfair. He is waist height, so can see advantages there, but chunky braids and big helmet most off-putting. Foresee dark times ahead, very dark times.

Heh - well I guess it is ok to say as I haven't seen him since I pm'd him on 20th Jan...

Him and his OH didn't make it. They had been struggling with her going out and becoming more aloof and getting on with her life and it worried him. Eventually they just didn't make it because of the long-windedness of the process... He said that he does still love her and that he hopes they can be friends and that who knows, in time things might change but for right now they are no longer together :(:cry:

Him and his OH didn't make it. They had been struggling with her going out and becoming more aloof and getting on with her life and it worried him. Eventually they just didn't make it because of the long-windedness of the process... He said that he does still love her and that he hopes they can be friends and that who knows, in time things might change but for right now they are no longer together :(:cry:

Remember that I had brought up the idea of leaving even partial information on the system when relationships tank, in hopes of providing SOME value to others. Do we think that there ought to be some mechanism toward this?
