NVC has received our case on july 23th and the AOS fee bill has not been generated yet. How long does it take in average? Is this delay normal? I am indeed ready for some J shortcuts but this AOS thing seems to take little longer that what I thought! Any ideas guys? Thanks a lot!

06/06/07 - I-130 sent to VSC.

06/20/07 - NOA1 via snail mail.

07/19/07 - NOA2

07/25/07 - Received NOA2 via snail mail.

I-129 F

06/25/07 - I-129F sent to NSC.

07/09/07 - NOA1 via snail mail.

07/25/07 - Transfered to VSC and pending...

09/11/07 - Touched...

NVC

07/23/07 - NVC receives petition, case # assigned.

08/06/07 - DS-3032 and AOS fee bill generated

08/07/07 - DS-3032 Agent of choice emailed

08/07/07 - AOS bill payment mailed

08/11/07 - AOS and DS3032 received via snail mail

08/15/07 - AOS fee bill processed

08/16/07 - DS3032 form mailed

08/20/07 - I-864 form has been generated

08/22/07 - DS-3032 accepted via email

08/27/07 - IV fee bill generated

09/01/07 - I-864 form received via snail mail

09/04/07 - I-864 mailed via priority mail

09/07/07 - Received IV fee bill and...

09/08/07 - mailed via priority

09/14/07 - IV fee payment entered into the system

09/19/07 - DS-230 mailed via priority mail

09/20/07 - AOS review complete

09/25/07 - DS230 entered into the system

10/04/07 - RFE sent for missing evidence...and

10/10/07 - RFE response mailed with missing docs...

10/18/07 - RFE entered into the system...

10/29/07 - Case complete

11/20/07 - Received Packet 4 - Interview Letter

12/10/07 - I N T E R V I E W

I'm not sure what the 'average' time is, however it took 12 days from the time we were assigned our case number at NVC for them to generate the fee bill.

Ours took about 2 weeks as well but it seems that they've been taking a lot longer.

02/05/07 - I-130 sent to NSC

05/03/07 - NOA2

05/10/07 - NVC receives petition, case # assigned

08/08/07 - Case Complete

09/27/07 - Interview, visa granted

10/02/07 - POE

11/16/07 - Received green card and Welcome to America letter in the mail

Removing Conditions

07/06/09 - I-751 sent to CSC

08/14/09 - Biometrics

09/27/09 - Approved

10/01/09 - Received 10 year green card

U.S. Citizenship

03/30/11 - N-400 sent via Priority Mail w/ delivery confirmation

05/12/11 - Biometrics

07/20/11 - Interview - passed

07/20/11 - Oath ceremony - same day as interview

Ours took three weeks aka forever ;)

Timeline (2nd):

5/29/2009 - Filing I-751 Removal of conditions

6/01/2009 - CSC received I-751

6/04/2009 - check cashed (fast!)

6/08/2009 - received I-797C (receipt date 6/01)

6/22/2009 - received Biometrics Appt. Notice

7/01/2009 - received rescheduled Appt. Notice

7/23/2009 - Biometr. Appt.

7/24/2009 - A touch, a touch!

8/20/2009 - APPROVED! Oh, glorious day!

8/25/2009 - Card production e-mail received

8/31/2009 - Card received. Error :(

9/05/2009 - Returned green card with evidence of error & I-90

9/16/2009 - received I-797C (receipt date 9/14)

10/27/2009 - Correct card issued
