Hello, my husband and I got married in February 2021, had our interview in February 2022, and no word since then… I submitted case inquiry 5 months ago, still nothing. Last update on USCIS website is from December 2021 “your interview was scheduled”. When I chat with agents, they do not say anything, just to wait. Average processing time is 16.5 months, in my case it is way longer, over 2 years. Has anyone experienced such delays?

What status are you adjusting from? Is your husband a US citizen?

 

How long have you known each other? 
 

Prior marriages from either side? Has the petitioner married and petitioned for someone else before? Have you been petitioned in the past?
 

Any criminal history?
