Fresh Medical and Passport requested

Hi All,

 

I am a US citizen. My wife had interview on January 31 2023 at the US embassy in Islamabad . The officer give my wife a white slip with 221g administrative process.

 

after almost 9 months the embassy emailed us and asking for a fresh Medical and original passport. 

She already submitted the new medical and passport. 
 

how long more it will take for her visa to be issued?

I'm afraid it's different case to case and nobody knows for sure.

The Embassy told us on the email that they are glad to inform that they are moving forward to process does it means the AP is done.

No.  The AP is done when the status changes to "ISSUED."

Congratulations.

We had the same thing happen to us last September: The consulate in Casablanca called my wife asking for a new medical. The medical was completed on 21-Sep. Visa was issues two weeks later on 04-Oct.

But again, all cases are different.
