Biometrics appt - does USC have to go?

My husband has his biometrics for 8-8. I just wanted to know if you guys think it will look bad if he goes by himself. I don't want to get off from work, and he's a big boy and can do it successfully by himself

Just wondering if it will look bad, or if they make notes, like that he showed up by himself?

No, the USC doesn't have to go. I went with Claudeth to her EAD biometrics and I couldn't even go into the area she had to go, they made me sit in a visitor waiting area

You wouldn't be allowed in the room for the appt anyway, so i wouldn't take off work for it. I did go with my husband, cause i drove, as he didnt have his drivers license yet. He checked in, number was called, went in for photo and fingerprints, and was done. Easy Peasey  We were there about 20 minutes total.

No problem with him going by himself. They don't make any judgements of you when you go to biometrics so it can't really "look bad". All they do is take photos, signature and fingerprints.

I personally, went by myself.

I didn't go with David. He managed fine.

8-30-05 Met David at a restaurant in Germany

3-28-06 David 'officially' proposed

4-26-06 I-129F mailed

9-25-06 Interview: APPROVED!

10-16-06 Flt to US, POE Detroit

11-5-06 Married

7-2-07 Green card received

9-12-08 Filed for divorce

12-5-08 Court hearing - divorce final

A great marriage is not when the "perfect couple" comes together.

It is when an imperfect couple learns to enjoy their differences.

NO  If you cannot drive to the USCIS field office, any one can take you. All they do is take a picture, and finger prints.

I took half sick day and took my wife to her biometrics in Buffalo NY, and after that we visited Niagara Falls State Park, (American side of course), before returning home, and to work.
