Anybody see "A Day without a Mexican?"

no, but its not "mexicans" that pizz me off. it illegals & the enablers.

Labels will kill you.

who's slogan is that? i didn't label illegals as "........"

Enablers is a mighty deceptive label. Unless you grow your own food and never step in a restaurant or hotel, you're as much an enabler as anyone. A more accurate label would be pragmatist.

I hope that Congress has the courage to pass Comprehensive Immigration Reform. Let people have a clear path to being legal. Most undocumented people would love for the opportunity to do things the right way.

Amnesty is not immigration reform. Affording preferential treatment to folk that felt the legal path and the laws of this nation don't apply to them is not immigration reform. Most undocumented people had the opportunity to do things the right way. They could have waited their turn. Millions of legal immigrants are undisputable proof of that. They [the illegal aliens] chose not to. And don't sing me the tired song of "not enough visas" - however many visas this country makes available, there will always be more people looking for one. Immigration is a privilege, not a right. Funny how some people like to lose sight of that.

As long as there are businesses willing to hire people without papers, they will continue to come. And whether y'all like it or not, they are here to stay.

Oh, and just so that there is no question: my husband and I went through legal channels. He waited until all his paperwork was in order to work. My undocumented students have a much easier time finding a job than he did.

It would be hard to take me seriously if I stomped up and down in protest of Walmart's business practices if I continued to shop there, yes?

Actually, I said that guns don't kill ...in reference to the NRA's long standing claim. ;)
