IR5 parent Jamaica - rechedule of medical? [split thread]

I have interview (IR5 parent Jamaica)date Nov. 13 and was only able to get medical date Nov. 8.  In your experience is this a major issue?  If it is, how can I get a reschedule of the medical?  Attempts to contact hospital by email and phone has so far proven futile

If possible you can get another hospital or medical center out of the list they gave u, i am sure it should be more than one medical centre the embassy gave.

Will it be a serious challenge if my medical date is only 3 days before the interview?  The site said at least 10 but I cant get another.  Hospital says all slots are filled.

if possible you can write to the embassy

I would reach out to the embassy to see if they can reschedule. What is your priority date and the also the date that your got DQ? I have been waiting for an interview for my mother.

Its not an issue, don't reschedule your appointment, go to the medical and then the interview, the embassy will just hold your passport for a few days until Andrews send them the completed medical

Do not reschedule your embassy appointment, go ahead with the medical although the date is close to the interview. It is better to wait on the medal than to get a new appointment date. I did my interview recently and there were persons there who did not do their medical at the time of the interview. It's just a set back as you have to wait on the medical if all goes well.

Did you experience a similar issue? Was it only an additional few days or was it longer? I have the same situation as the original poster.

Yea my wife did, it takes about 2-3 weeks after the interview for them to return the passport due to that closeness of the medical to the interview.

 

But if you try to reschedule the interview, it will add months to the process.
