Hello Everyone,

Just curious about the changes of all the K-1 or K-3 filing fees. Now, i just want to make sure how much really we need to pay for removing condition from temporary residence to Permanent? My friend told me...$1,370 or just $465? Which one is correct amount really. Hope somebody here can tell how much the correct amount to pay.

Thank you very much & have a blessed day!!!!

New fee to file form I-751 is $465+$80 for biometric fee.

I-698 costs $1370, this is not used in your case, this form is used to apply for adjustment to permanent resident status under the amnesty program provisions of the Immigration Reform and Control Act of 1986 (IRCA).

Technically, YuandDan is correct, although the correct fee for I-751- Removal of Conditions - is listed as $545 which includes the biometrics, plus an additional $80 for the biometrics of any dependent who is included on the same application. Here is the link to the new fees:

“...Isn't it splendid to think of all the things there are to find out about? It just makes me feel glad to be alive--it's such an interesting world. It wouldn't be half so interesting if we knew all about everything, would it? There'd be no scope for imagination then, would there?”
