Anyone know if USCIS is going to remove COVID vaccine requirement?

So it seems the government has removed all COVID vaccine mandates except for AOS. Does anyone know if they will remove this requirement or am I stuck filing a I-601? Does the I-601 add time to the AOS process? Also, what sequence is the best way to do this? File for AOS along with I-603 and let them know you filed the waiver at the medical exam? Not thrilled to have to pay almost another $1k for a waiver but it is what it is.

Personally, no I do not see the COVID vaccine requirement going away any time soon from the medical exam. 
 

You should browse the Waivers forum for threads about the process specifically for AOS. Here’s one after a quick look:
