Hello All,

Please help me to compute my niece CSPA age. She is my sister derivative. I’m getting confused which month of bulletin board should we use.

DOB: 10/26/1999

Priority Date: 10/04/2011

Approval Date: 11/05/2013

Visa available since June 2021

Country: Philippines

Appreciate anyone who can help me with this.

Thank You

Timeline

10/26/1999 + 11/05/2013 - 10/04/2011

10/26/1999 + 763

= 27 Nov 2001

June 1, 2021 - 27 Nov 2001

= 7126 days

= 19.6 years.

Should be good to go.

One other piece of information needed:  Did she "seek to acquire" the immigrant vIsa (usually done by submitting the DS-260) by June 2022?  This must be done within one year of the Priority Date becoming current.

She completed the ds-260 last sep 2020. Would that count as seek to acquire?

thank you for your response.

I also wondering if you can help me with this. Everyone in the petition papers were transferred to the US embassy except hers. We contacted the US embassy and were told to contact USCIS, we did and we’re told that its not their jurisdiction anymore. So we emailed the NVC and told us that they forwarded the papers to the US embassy. It is very confusing, we don’t know what to do with her case. TIA

Send a concise note to the embassy, stating these facts, and request next steps by September 1. Include copies of the screen shot and email.

I do not know what, if any, form of written communication you have been using to communicate with the consulate.
