Very unlikely she’d get tourist visa.   Just do things the right way and file the correct petition.   Why would you even consider filing the wrong petition???

Thanks for your response☺️. I don’t remember saying anything about wanting to file the wrong petition. I came on here to confirm an information a friend told me and to be advised correctly.

What makes you think she would get a tourist visa?

I never said she would apply for a tourist visa. JeaneAdil made a comment about getting a  tourist visa with the intention to stay being a type of visa fraud. I do not know much about the immigration rules etc. You will understand what I meant if you read my response to her statement. Thank you☺️

Unfortunately, your friend is encouraging immigration fraud, and that would have awful consequences for your aunt.  She should go ahead and file for a CR1 visa, and wait it out.  I hope she has good luck!

Thank you!

This is not true. Because they are already married fiance visa is no longer an option for them.

They will have to file the I-130.

Your aunt can apply for a tourist visa to the US but she cannot visit the US with the intention of adjusting status.

Okay, thank you

Also just know Ghana is a huge backlog. There's a 2 year wait for interviews. Add in processing at USCIS. Your Aunt is looking at 3 to 4 years to get to US once petition is filed.

From now on your VJ Member name will be verified. If the name you put on form to be added to spreadsheet comes up not found, you will not be added to the spreadsheet. If you don't have a timeline you will not be added to the spreadsheet.

Wow, thank you very much for this information dwheels76! I’m guessing this backlog is affecting F2B visas too right?

You inquired about fiancée visa, which she is ineligible for.   I was pointing that out.   Your friend is full of bad advice it seems….

Yes they have over a 3 year wait. They are still in 2020 DQ's for them.

I'm to referring to k1 since you schedule yourself. That is IR/CR I am talking about.
