Hi everyone!

As we're coming up on April cases starting to get approved, I realized that I (petitioner) no longer have access to the email address I gave when I filled out the I-129F (it was supposed to be a lifelong university email, and my alma mater decided to revoke all emails older than 7 years).

Anyway will this affect communication with the NVC and embassy (Seoul)? How can I change this? Can I just leave it alone?

My fiance's email is still valid.

Thanks

Yes, it will affect communication from NVC as they send a letter through email when the case departs NVC to go to the consulate (note that there are no welcome letters when your case gets to NVC from USCIS). Send a public inquiry to NVC and ask them to update the email.

Thanks for your reply. I finally got NOA2 today! Should I wait until I have a case number for NVC to submit a public inquiry? Or do you think I could submit it now and just tell them my I-129F case number that I've been using to check case status?

Congrats! So, you wont be able to find out your NVC case number without contacting NVC through public inquiry. I would wait about 4 weeks to send an inquiry as it takes time for USCIS file to get to NVC.
