I haven't updated it, but I've just changed @Damiores dates around - he's used the UK format whereas the rest of us have used the US one, so makes it a bit hard to compare! Hope that was ok.

So from the 1st of May my PD will no longer be current, does anyone know how long it usually takes for them to update this? I need a new passport but don't want to send it off to be renewed and then get the IL 🤔

Yep, current, so you're in the queue for an interview. How long it will take will depend on your consulate and the backlog, some have really lengthy queues and people can wait two years for an interview, others you'll get an interview within 6 weeks or so.

Hi everyone

How long does it take to get a welcome letter from NVC after i-140 is approved.

My i-140 was approved mid March 2023.Case sent to DOS end of March.

Haven't received a welcome letter yet.

Hey there. my case: I-140 approved Dec 13, 2022, and NVC letter Febreary 4th.

 

But NVC timeframes right now haave improved.

This was our longest wait unfortunately, we waited 7 months before the case was sent to NVC after approval and then another couple of months before we got the welcome letter. Hop yours doesn't take that long 🤞

I got my NIW EB2 approved. Now processing NVC from Montréal Canada. Step 3 in DS260 says I need petitioner financial documents. Who should be the petitioner and what documents they need to supply?
