Hello everyone,

I have 2 cases at NVC for my parents, I submitted all the required documents and paid the fees.

2 days after that I requested an expedite from NVC and provided the supporting documents.

NVC responded that the expedite request has been approved as below.

My question is that does this also expedite the processing at NVC (reviewing the affidavit of support + DS260) or just expedite the process at the embassy once they receive the case from NVC?

Thank you

Hello;

From the way I read you letter, it appears that the NVC will expedite case for Embassy processing.  Embassy is WILLING to expedite your case, but the last paragraph says that only the US Embassy or Consulate HAS THE ABILITY to APPROVE or DENY the expedited case. So from my understanding, IMHO, the final results of your expedite will be approved or denied at the Embassy.

Maybe someone more knowledgeable will chime in with a better response.

Hey I have a question. When you sent the request for the expedite, did you sent 2 separate emails for each case or did you just sent 1?
i want to request and expedite for my parents and I’m not sure.
And could you share what was the reason if you don’t mind

I sent 1 email for both cases. I wrote the 2 case numbers in the email and explained the situation. My request was based on humanitarian reasons. If you think you have grounds to expedite, it doesn't hurt to try. Good luck.
