Question #1: I'm in the AOS stage and it's asking for passport bio page. Do they want a full scan from top (with the signature) to bottom or just the bottom section where it has my passport information?

Question #2:  Civil Documents is asking for photography. Can I put 2 passport size(jpeg files) into a word document, covert it to a pdf, and then upload it? Or do I need to upload 2 physical copies of passport pictures and scan them?

Follow their instructions as written.

I would scan and upload the full page.  I would scan the physical photos and upload them.

So I'm guessing full page would be the top (with the signature) and the bottom with the information? So the image below like this in their website?

I think there's some uncertainty on this point on VJ, I'm not sure there is a definitive answer. However, I was DQ first time last week, and I followed the following advice and just uploaded a single JPEG file of a photo taken using my phone, edited using the State Department's photo editor tool:

No guarantees, but it worked for me. Uploading the same photo twice seems a bit bonkers.

My advice is to scan and upload.  Following their instructions is usually always a good choice. YMMV.

In this context, follow instructions. Put thoughts of "can I just...." or "would it be ok to....?" out of your head and just follow the instructions.

So basically you uploaded only a JPEG file of your beneficiary? I'm not sure what they mean about Photographs, because it seems like they want more than one?

I tried looking for the instructions, but I couldn't find anything on what they mean about Photographs. I went here https://travel.state.gov/content/travel/en/us-visas/immigrate/the-immigrant-visa-process/step-5-collect-financial-evidence-and-other-supporting-documents/step-7-collect-civil-documents.html
