Waiting on IR-5 interview in Beirut, Lebanon

My mother-in-laws paperwork was documentarily qualified for an interview on December 15, 2022. We have been waiting for the embassy to schedule the interview. Has anyone had an interview or could anyone give me a time frame of how long theirs took?

Unless the case was expedited, the consulate does not schedule interviews.  This how the process works:

 

1. Case is DQ'd by NVC.

2. Case then enters NVC queue for your consulate and waits at NVC.

3. Consulate informs NVC of available interview date for upcoming month.

4. NVC schedules interview when case reaches the front of the queue for that consulate.

5. NVC notifies person of interview date via email.

6. NVC then sends case to consulate.

After the interview is scheduled, it can take several days to several weeks for the consulate to receive the case.

Hi Jess, our case was DQ on DEC 5th, still no interview date. usually it takes them a month or so to schedule, I don't know why it's taking so long this time.

I don’t either I hope we hear something soon. I can’t find any information about processing times or wait times online for IR visas 😕

We found out about the interview April 14th. Our interview is on June 12.
