That’s what I love about this community. It’s full of people who help you see the silver lining in every situation! I didn’t think about it like that, so you are absolutely right that it’s about perspective lol. This makes me feel a lot better, thank you!

I'd would have loved them to process more than week prior every week, but that isn't possible imo. There will be ebbs and flows, and we have to look at snapshots bigger than one week I am always here for sunshine and rainbows. 

 

If you want some really eye opening and optimistic news, if they average the pace they sustained these past 4 weeks (including this slow week) during March they will process ~4,600 cases.

As a late Jan 2023 filer, I hope that things go quickly, but not too quickly haha. My fiancee has a surgery to correct some issues this August (long waiting times for a specialist) and having the K1 interview emerge anytime before this Christmas will definitely throw a monkey wrench into things with that and our careers.

Sometimes they just pull cases out because they are from Ukraine or Afghanistan, I saw one case of a Ukrainian living in Germany getting pulled out like this without expedite just because of nationality.

Yep!  December 2022 here.  Fiancée (beneficiary) is finishing up her masters thesis this December, so an NOA2 at that time would be great... HOWEVER anything earlier than that would create a rush and panic on things!  Only after that could she concentrate on an interview and packing things up to leave her parents' home for the US!

I wouldn't fret the interview at all if it is a legitimate relationship. Knowing dozens of Consular Officers, and a few people who have gone through the interview process it is very straight forward.

remember you have 6months after medical to use the K1 so you can 'delay' it if needed
