Hello Everyone,

I have petitioned for my dad and submitted my documents and I-130 form to USCIS. I am looking for those with similar situation as I have my dad is 70 years old and he lives in Afghanistan alone as of now. My question is where US schedule the interviews and if there is an option to pay US gov to evacuate him to Qatar if NVC was going to schedule his interview.

Unless the US consulate in the home country is not conducting interviews at all, then beneficiaries must interview in their home country or one where they have residency rights. Cant Consulate swap

Thanks Lil Bear, US Embassy in afghanistan has suspended all of him operations and I am looking to find a way to have the case transferred to another country of either request paid evacuation as they are having some flight to Qatar from Afghanistan.

I thought the flights were for SIV's
