Hello everyone, I actually have a few questions. My fiancé lives in Russia and we are working on the K-1 visa process. We filled out the I-29f form but have seen mixed things on what to include when filing the form. In addition there are no US consulates in Russia which will do the visa interview process. Are we able to go to another country for this? if so which countries can we go to?

Start with the K1 guides about what to include and what forms to fill out.

And yes. The K1 beneficiary can interview at any country with a US embassy/consulate provided he can legally travel to that country. You will need to list which consulate to interview at in the I-129F.

I guess it won't be quite that way. For Russia, at the moment, the main consulate where the case will automatically go is Poland, if the address of residence in Russia is indicated. But you can request a transfer of the case to another consulate after the petition has been approved. Not all consulates accept case translations. But by the time you get approved, things can change a lot. Go to the sub-forum Russia, Belarus, Ukraine, it will be easier to find specific information there.

A follow up question to this. In the I29F where is says Consular Processing Information, should I put Warsaw, Poland for now or should I put a different location? Also, thank you so much for your help!

Ok to select Warsaw on the I-129F.  After the I-129F has been approved, if Warsaw is no longer the default consulate that handles K1 visa processing for Russians, NVC will route the case to the appropriate consulate.
