Congratulations! And thank you for sharing the dates. When will you be departing for USA?

In September I think. Btw, your visa class is IR1 or F2A? Interview questions all straight forward but the U.Singapore US Embassy is in manpower issue hence F2A interview probably rescheduled anytime.

My visa class is EB2. I think @MJ21 is F2A.

@MJ21 can you please update us once you have more information. It is greatly appreciated.

Ours was F2A, were you a IR1? Did they mention something about manpower issues to you before or during the interview? They would prioritize IR if there’s a manpower issue, we are wondering if this is a short term thing or a longer term issue.

Agree. IR1 is always prioritized regardless of Priority Date.

Yes,mine is IR1. They didn't say any but I would able to see the rescheduling appointment calendar on CGI federal which showing no available appointment till July 2023.

F2A was retrogressed to 2020 therefore your interview date probably affected.

Finished my interview on 11 April and received my passport at Aramex changi in next day. Within 2 days.

Also IR1 here and had my interview in 11 April in the morning! Unfortunately I was 221G-ed and they requested an additional document. We submitted it the next day (Wed) and then some back and forth clarifications over email up till Thurs. They told me they will not inform me if I am approved.

If I'm approved, the courier service will email me for passport pick up.

I was checking the UStraveldocs portal track my passport function multiple times a day and the status was just updated to Passport has been received from the consular section, and is currently being processed for delivery

I guess I'm approved today? Fingers crossed. Will update again when passport is available for pickup. @SGtoMurica

Huge congrats @FJT! And thanks for sharing.

May I ask which additional documents did they request for, in addition to the list that was provided on NVC Website?

I emailed the Singapore Consulate to confirm my appointment on May 10th as scheduled, but they said that they can only confirm appointments AFTER they have received our medical report? I dont know if the person responding to my emails is just sick of me bothering them lol

@Jin Lee Sin @FJT @MJ21 Did you receive this letter/notification from the Singapore Consulate informing you what to bring? If yes, how many days in advance of your interview did you receive it? Is it only distributed after the medical exam is received by the Singapore Consulate?

I received this from a friend who went for their interview last year. They told that they received this one day before their interview, so was panicking to gather the documents.

Yes! I got that 1 day before the interview too. But I've got those docs prepare already in advance. There wasn't anything additional that wasn't mentioned here https://travel.state.gov/content/travel/en/us-visas/Supplements/Supplements_by_Post/SGP-Singapore.html

Before the actual interview, they asked for the original docs in the exact order specified in the email. After they collected the docs, they asked me to wait at the waiting area for my name to be called for the interview.
