Please anyone have an experience with aos interview for a beneficiary with a child?

My spouse arrived with our child on k1 and k2. We filed for AOS in same packet but they eventually got separated when the credit card got declined.

We fixed the payment issue, child's packet was treated first and we got both notices separately.  Biometrics was scheduled separately but both went on child's date cos it was closest.

Fast forward to today, we received interview notification for my husband and our child's case is still  "Case Is Being Actively Reviewed By USCIS"

My question is,  do they schedule children under 10 years old for interviews or they automatically approve their cases when parents get approved?

We are contemplating if we should take her along for my spouse, her father's interview if they interview children too ?

Thank you 😊
