Many of the best hospitals, in the US, and elsewhere, are now offering virtual visits.

One example:

You could get the ball rolling even before getting a visa.

OP mentioned they have a clinic in the US

No provider is going to conduct a telehealth visit with someone who is located outside of where they are licensed to practice.  Or for that matter, with someone who is not insured/pre paid.

No idea how they proceed, but I'm sure their legal department (and accounting!) is on top of it.  Some other American providers have set up clinics abroad, and Morocco is also a short flight away to many European countries with great health care .   All that to say, if her daughter's health is getting worst by the day, might be worth to look into alternatives. Hopefully, things go smoothly and they get her visa promptly, but this is not a certainty.

If you are not able or ready to travel to the U.S., these virtual care options allow you to:

  • Understand how Mass General might approach your care
  • Ask key questions about your care
  • Meet with some of the world’s leading experts in your condition from the comfort of your home
  • Receive a formal, written second opinion
  • If medically appropriate, conduct follow-up care virtually after your onsite appointments to reduce the need for travel

Due to differences in each country’s laws and regulations, not all virtual care options are available in every situation, and our International Patient Center can help guide you to the virtual care options that are right for you. Please email us your request and our team will reply within 24 hours Monday through Friday.
