I included 8 pictures of me and my fiance. I did NOT write anything on the back of the pictures because I was told I only have to write my name on the back of my passport style photo.

One thing I'm worried about...my girl works on her family's farm in BuriRam. However, she doesn't exactly look like the typical "farm girl". She still has plenty of style and makes herself up VERY well. I've got pictures of her and I just lounging and dressed down, and I've also got pictures of her dressed up. Will they see these pictures where she is dressed up looking nice and say something isnt right?

I don't think that is going to be a problem so I wouldn't worry about it. As far as the writing on the back. I wrote my name and her name (along with anyone else in the pic) and where it was taken.

I didn't write on the back of mine because I sent it off before finding VJ. I was approved with no problems. However, looking back, I should have written on the back just for clarity. The pictures that I'm sending with my SO for his interview have writing on the back. I only wrote who was in the pictures though since some of them are of him and different members of my family. As far as your variety of pictures goes, I think that fine. In fact, I think it is good. Not only do you have 'going out'pics, you have pics of a normal couple sitting at home in a normal situation and not posing formally for a camera. Good luck! Your journey begins.

I think you'll be fine. They want to see you together to confirm your relationship. I wrote on the backs; listed people, location, and dated the pics. But have heard of many not doing so and passed just fine.

Unless things have changed! You don't even need pictures for the original submission.

Doesn't hurt to have a few tho!

Mainly need them at the interview.

Best to put 4 or so on a page and captions below with who and dates.

Makes it easy for the CO.

It doesn't really matter what the pictures are, just as long as your together. And its also just considered secondary evidence.

I agreed...I don't think it really matter if you didn't write anything on the back...as long as you're together in the picture. I think they can put 2+2 together  ...I hope.

OP-

I know you've posted a lot of questions in the past yet you failed to date your photos or make a copy of the package. I'm wondering if you read the guides or followed the VJ guide for K1s?

There is a wealth of info there for the consulate & beyond stage as well.

The OP is using an attorney as well as posting a ton of questions before he even mailed it off, yet missed many simple VJ Guides answers.

Have a look:

I agree, Devilette(!).

The guides are where most of us start. There are lots of samples provided, OP. The SEARCH function can help research topics via posts written by those who've already been down these roads. Take notes if that helps. Put together a check list if that helps. Compile your documents. Copy everything. Send the damn thing out.
