Hello,

I will be getting married in december and am preparing all documents i need once I am there. Regarding police records, I called my local police department they can give me my records buts only LOCAL CITY. I have lived in this city for over 10 years but have also lived in another city prior to that. Should that be enough?

Also just to be sure I called the PD and asked for my police records is that what i need or should i ask for a background check????

USC doesn't need criminal reports

Moroccan will need 2 at the NVC stage to be scanned to CEAC site with originals taken to interview

plus any from countries lived in the past for

  • Your country of nationality if you’ve lived there for at least six months at any time in your life
  • Your country of residence if it’s different from your country of nationality and if you’ve lived there for at least six months
  • Any country if you’ve lived there for at least 12 months and were at least 16 years old at the time

in Morocco these are needed

  • Police certificate (fiche anthropometrique) and English translation
  • Court record (casier judiciare) and English translation
