Uploading Additional Documents before Interview

Afternoon all,

When we were at NVC we submitted an I-864 that showed my wife's current income (exceeds threshold comfortably) but on her most recent transcript she shows as $0 due to a foreign earned income exclusion. We have also submitted a document from her employer confirming she is working in the US since August last year and her current salary.

When we got our notice of DQ we also got a note stating "This case does not meet the minimum income requirement to sponsor the intending immigrants. To avoid delays, an additional Affidavit of Support Form I-864 from a joint sponsor may be submitted. For more information visit https://nvc.state.gov/aos. The consular officer will make a decision regarding this requirement at the time of the interview."

I have my interview on 8th November and ahead of this we would like to submit my wife's last 6 months of pay slips to evidence she is still employed at a level that is in excess of that which is required to support an immigrant.

Will it cause any issues if we upload and submit additional documents at this point?

Regards,

SM0

I don’t think additional documents will cause issues, but the employer letter should be sufficient for a London interview.

Thanks, Wuozopo,

I have read elsewhere this should be enough, but want to cover as many bases as possible to avoid delay.

Take the pay slips with you and you can show them if needed.
