Thanks, Wuozopo, I have read elsewhere this should be enough, but want to cover as many bases as possible to avoid delay.

Afternoon all, When we were at NVC we submitted an I-864 that showed my wife's current income (exceeds threshold comfortably) but on her most recent transcript she shows as $0 due to a foreign earned income exclusion. We have also submitted a document from her employer confirming she is working in the US since August last year and her current salary. When we got our notice of DQ we also got a note stating "This case does not meet the minimum income requirement to sponsor the intending immigrants. To avoid delays, an additional Affidavit of Support Form I-864 from a joint sponsor may be submitted. For more information visit https://nvc.state.gov/aos. The consular officer will make a decision regarding this requirement at the time of the interview." I have my interview on 8th November and ahead of this we would like to submit my wife's last 6 months of pay slips to evidence she is still employed at a level that is in excess of that which is required to support an immigrant. Will it cause any issues if we upload and submit additional documents at this point? Regards, SM0

That’s interesting, any idea what sort of checks they are doing at this point? I’m surprised they don’t do them before inviting for interview.

You’ll get a slip of paper saying you’re refused until they receive and process the medical. As long as you don’t mind the additional wait then this shouldn’t be a problem.

I was able to register my appointment and sign up for courier delivery this morning.

The error is saying allow 5 working days and then contact them. So all we can do is wait until Thursday and if it’s not working follow the contact steps.

I have started preparing for my visa medical, gathering required documents etc. and reading through past experiences people have posted. I have noted some people have mentioned having to fill out additional paper work upon arrival but I couldn’t see any specific details of what is included. Could anyone please let me know what other information is asked so I can prepare?

My understanding is that you need to have had the first and second dose. From Visa Medical site:

Documentarily Qualified: 3rd September Interview Letter: 29th September Interview Date: 8th November Medical Date: 24th October I tried to register on the Visa Appointment Service but I recieve an error telling me I may need to wait 5 days.

I can understand why you would be concerned; I assume you've submitted an inquiry? Have you double checked that you have submitted all the required paperwork? When I did my initial submission, not all of the required documents were auto-populated and I had to manually add the type and upload the document.

She moved back in August 2021 and our first submission to NVC was April, second submission in June.

I have a situation where my sponsor has 0 income on her most recent tax return due to a foreign earned income exclusion (she moved back part way through the year but the exclusion sums her US income to 0). We have also provided a letter from her employer showing her current salary is X, which is comfortably above the poverty guidelines - since we got DQ and the messages says you MAY want to get an additional sponsor I think we will be ok in the basis the consular officer should see the confirmation of income from her employer. To be on the safe side I will also take all of her recent pay slips dated since the letter to prove employment is ongoing. I've seen other threads where people have taken this approach and it ha sproved successful. Now just to wait for an interview letter.

Submitted on 23rd April. Received RFE last night, rejecting my divorce decree absolute saying it was not issued by correct body - It is the correct document I received when divorce was finalised here in UK. Devastated.
