Timeline

Hi y’all I bring my mother onIR5 visa now she has green card my question is how I am gonna file my taxes is she dependent on me ? She can’t work due for her age issues so she won’t be able to make any money and I have to take care of her financially can I add her as dependent on my tax returns?

Why doesn't she file as independent?  It may also help her if she wants to apply for ACA insurance
