Hello all,

My wife is here on K1 visa and we have already gotten married but we are going to have a ceremony for friends and family in November, would it be possible to have her apply for a tourist visa in that time frame? And how would we go about doing that?

Thank you!

Go to the website for the US embassy in Thailand.  Look for non-immigrant visa, B2.

Your MIL will need to apply as herself, but you can help fill out her DS-160.  She will need to show strong ties to home for the best chance for approval.

Yes it is possible.  Wait time for a tourist visa interview in Thailand is currently 1 day.  Applications are filed online.
