I know OP had a challenging situation. He decided to come anyway (which is fine of course) and needs to get organized now. Get a job, get health insurance and build his life here.

My post was not meant to be cruel but to state the way it is in US

we work hard and play hard

you are free to go anywhere as there is no tie to your wife

so,  u can find work  anywhere

my grandson rides a bike to work (as he was foolish and lost his license to fines)  and he lives in the north where it snows

Adil had a job within 2 months and he needed glasses to drive before he could drive himself

many work places will accommodate u and your hearing issues /  basically they have to according to the ADA (Americans with disabilities act)

as a LPR with a green card to work,  you have the same rights (except voting and some high security jobs) as a USC
