Hi all,

 

I have my interview in Abu Dhabi in September CR1.  Trying to organize all my documents.  Is there anything I'm missing or need to amend from this list?

Type Table of Contents
Copy NVC interview letter copy
Original Unexpired passport
Copy Photocopy of passport bio page (where your name and photo are located)
2 Originals Two (2) color photographs of each person applying for a visa (5 cm x 5 cm, or 2 inch x 2 inch). Please review our online photo requirements.
Copy Confirmation page from the Form DS-260 Application
Original Birth certificate with English translation
Copy Birth certificate with English translation
Original Medical examination results in a sealed envelope (if the physician gives you these results).
Copy The appropriate Form I-864 Affidavit of Support
Copy Sponsor’s IRS transcript or most recent U.S. federal income tax return (2018-2021)
Copy W2 (2018-2021)
Copy 1040 Tax Filing (2018-2021)
Copy Proof of employment
Copy Paystubs (two)
Copy Proof of address
Copy Petitioner’s U.S. passport
Copy Submitted evidence of the relationship between the petitioner and visa applicant (such as photographs, letters, or emails)
Copy Updated evidence of the relationship between the petitioner and visa applicant (Updated photo collage, recent flight tickets)
Copy Joint insurance/bills/property/bank accounts
Original Marriage certificate
Copy Marriage certificate
Original UAE police certificate
Copy UAE police certificate
Original Canada police certificate
Copy Canada police certificate

Timeline

Make sure you take with you THE SAME DOCUMENTS you submitted to NVC, even if they expired after you submitted them.

Getting new documents will extend the process

11/17/2016: Got engaged
11/28/2016: I-130 sent to Chicago IL lock box
01/12/2016: NOA1

the one you uploaded to NVC and the new one. upload the new one and take a print out of both.

yes but I am planning to upload new docs to CEAC and carry those with me.  new i864, tax stuff, etc. (and i'll carry the old ones too).

But I cannot open the old one how to open it to take print out.

Hey! Good luck on your interview!

just wanted to ask how much time you had to wait after receiving an email that your papers are documentary qualified and that just need to wait for the interview.

 I’m also applying for a spouse visa.
