Delay after i-601 approval - LONDON

We received approval for our i-601 on May 17, 2022 however we have not yet received instructions from the Embassy on the next steps.

We notified the embassy of the approval on May 18

We sent a copy of the i-797 approval on May 26 and asked for further instructions

We send a further inquiry on June 15 asking for instructions to proceed

It has been 43 days since the waiver approval and we have had no contact from the London embassy. We are completely lost as to what to do next.

Do we contact the embassy again or go down the Senator/Congressman route?

Thanks

Receipt date for the waiver was 8 July 2021, so 313 days

Thanks.  That information will help others who submit I-601s.

The Embassy has to get the approval notice directly from USCIS; they cannot take action on a copy you send them.  Did you check with USCIS to see when it was sent to the Embassy?  It can sometimes take way too long for that step!

Congratulations! Would you recommend the lawyer you used? Approximately how much did they charge to prepare the form?
