  1. According to a WhatsApp group I follow, they are currently working on April '22.
  2. Ah, that's great !! That's good news for everyone still waiting. Could I ask you why you had to file it in the first place? Of course, no need to share if you don't feel comfortable doing so.
  3. Wow, that's great! Did yours get processed in Nebraska?
  4. That's great news! I'm not sure of the answer to your question, but if you don't mind, could you share what you needed to file I-601? Also, what was your priority date? Hope everything goes smoothly for you from here!
  5. I've got a September 2022 priority date, so at this point, just playing the waiting game.
  6. That's the part I don't get. I saw in another forum posts from around ~120 days ago where people said they are working on cases from september/october 2021. Just don't see how they could know that.
  7. Oh, that's too bad - it seems that I-601 has very little transparency (perhaps due to the multitude of reasons why people file it). Even the historic processing times link has all waivers lumped into a single category.
  8. Is it possible to see which I-601 (not I-601A) USCIS is currently reviewing? I've seen that some people somehow know what month/year USCIS is currently on. TYIA!
  9. There seems to be a huge range in processing times for I-601 depending on why it was needed in the first place. Some people in this thread reported just a few months waiting time, while others have reported more than one year. Hope you get some resolution soon and wish I could say more.
  10. Best of luck to you! Hoping you hear something positive soon
  11. Wow, that's incredibly fast. I would say if anything I'm really glad to hear that there's some movement with the I-601s, and I'm really happy for your news!
  12. Wow, that's great news - congratulations! When did you submit your I-601?
  13. I have a priority date of September 26th, 2022 for my I-601. I was wondering if anyone has recently seen any approved, and what kind of time frame I may be expecting for a decision? When I submitted my I-601, the time frame on the USCIS website said 8-12 months, but now it says 27 months! Not sure what is going on. My case is pretty straightforward so hoping for a quick decision....
  14. @beasleyivy2 Congratulations! What was your priority date for the I-601?
  15. I know... right? So yea, you've got the order of events exactly correct there. My only thought is that original message means that with "expedited review", they are trying to evaluate if it qualifies or not? The guy I spoke with basically said he does not know, and so therefore, he has to escalate it. IDK but it's pretty depressing.
  16. I checked online today at the USCIS website, and it says that the request was denied... ugh... called them and at first they said it was definitely approved. Then I mentioned the website, so they checked deeper in the system and said it had been denied. So they are escalating the case and told me to expect a call within 30 calendar days...
  17. I recently submitted a request for expedited processing with USCIS - after a few days, they messaged me asking for more information. I promptly replied, and then they replied back in a few hours with this message " We received your request for expedited processing, and we will accommodate that request. Your case is now under expedited review. " I just wanted to confirm that this does indeed mean the case is being expedited, or if it was awkward wording meaning something else. Sorry if this is an obvious question, but I wanted to ask on here before calling USCIS as my status on the website says nothing about expedited processing being official.
  18. Congratulations! Would you recommend the lawyer you used? Approximately how much did they charge to prepare the form?
  19. It will be in Budapest - what a relief... thank you for your reply Thank you
  20. Hi Everyone, I have an upcoming IR-1 appointment. I've gotten my police report, but so far haven't had it translated - will the embassy be okay with me translating it myself? If not, do I need to reach out to a specific translator or can I go to any who is certified? When submitting my civil documents, I self-translated my birth certificate, and they didn't seem to have a problem with that. Thank you!
  21. Just got email with an appointment for June 15! Things seem to be moving pretty quickly at the Budapest embassy. Cheers Everyone
  22. Hi, we submitted everything on February 25th after receiving second RFE on February 20th. Original submission August 28, 2021 and received first RFE on November 16, 2021. The embassy in Budapest agreed to expedite our case once they have received the documents from the NVC - any idea how long the wait might be to receive an interview date?
  23. Just got DQ'ed! Best of luck to you all!
