:help: How long exactly for a K1 Visa needs to be process? What are the maximum and minimum months of waiting and preparing?

My fiance lives with his mom and her sister as well. But he's still renting and paying some other bills in their house. His mom doesn't want him to leave. According to my fiance, their where they're living now is under his name and his sister. Is it possible that he could use it as one for his assets for additional proofs? Or it's not necessary?
