While waiting for Green card arrival

1. How many days it take to get the green card after you activate immigration visa at the POE? Looking for feedback from anyone who moved in April or May 2022.

2. Does anyone know if one can leave the US after activating immigration visa but before arrival of actual green card? Can you share a link to NVC or CEAC webpage that provide guidance on this?

F2a?

should have a I 551 stamp (notice) at bottom of visa to allow u to come and go for a year /its the same as the green card

Your entry stamp + canceled visa let’s you travel for one year from date of entry.

i tried to look at your past messages and u have some to F2a and some to F3

 

Helpful to do a timeline and let VJ members know the visa type and embassy

and to follow your progress especially for those who follow in your footsteps
