Receiving your passport after the interview in Bangkok

They will usually ship the passport to the address on your DS-160, or after you are approved they will give you the option to have it shipped to a local post office for pickup. I don't recall if they had an option to pick up at the embassy when it is done, but I believe that was a choice also. My wifes K1 was done in October 2018, so things could have changed. She wasn't local to the embassy, so she just had it shipped via post.

It took a week for it to be delivered. was only in AP for about 3-4 days, then another 2-3 to get delivered.
