Yey! Hope the biometrics appointment comes before I travel outside of the US!

Anyone has any idea if I can walk in before my biometrics appointment? I've seen some posts in the MSC thread that they go in days before their appt date.

You might not even get an appointment at all! In many cases they just use the biometrics they took for the greencard 2 years ago.But of course, they'll keep the fees😎

Hmmm.. when did they get our prints? The one from the airport? I can't remember anymore! Lol!

What I've seen though is most CR1s have biometrics taken but K1 and others have them reused.

It looks like the recent trend they are waiving the Biometric and no interview. Hopefully we are one of the lucky one! :) Anyway, either way is fine with me.

Well, waiving the interview would be amazing! But I have no issue doing another one,if I have to. Good luck to all of us🍀😃

Oh I see that you're K1. They usually waive the prints for K1s! 😊

I haven't done any interview here in the US. The only interview I've done is the embassy interview. They said you'll at least have one (like for those who have done in AOS, they wont do it again). So I'm also preparing myself for the possibility of an interview.

LOL just different process obtaining the GC. I was K1, with 90 days visa (fiancé visa) to enter the US and get married in the US, after marriage applied for adjustment of status for 2 year conditional GC. We are in the same process to get 10 year GC through I-751 ROC lol IR1-CR1, you guys obtaining visa based on Immediate relative, spouse visa.. known as spouse GC;) CMIIW IR for foreign nationals that have been married to USC for two years or more, CR1 for less than two years.
