Us Citizen applied for sister 18 years ago. sister she got married March 20,2022 and recieved Friday the Notice of Immigrant Visa Case Creation is this gonna be a problem? please advise.

No. Her spouse (and any under 21 children) will be derivatives and will come with on their immigrant visas.

Now your sister received a notice by mail from NVC to make case creation thru Online or CEAC. From there she or the petitioner will have to pay IV fee bill and Afidavit of Support fee.(follow link and see procedures)

the petitioner must prepare the affidavit of support I-864 and submit to NVC thru CEAC.

 

Beneficiary must start collecting civil documents that are issued by the legal government agency that is only approved by USCIS/NVC, such as

 

• Birth certificate (of primary beneficiary, spouse, all child under 21

• Birth Certificare of petitioner

• Marriage Certificate of the beneficiary

•Police clearance/ Criminal Record clearance

 

• Beneficiary may start filling up the application DS-260. 
 

another important things for beneficiary to start documenting, to provide as proof of relationship and continuous family ties during interview if immigration officer may ask:

•photos of petitioner and  baneficiary together , if possible with parents and siblings.

•communications (email, text, messenger, etc. translated in English if English was not the language used)
