When to request to have Warsaw take ownership? (IR2)

With all that is going on in the world, I feel a bit overwhelmed everywhere to figure out when to request Warsaw to take ownership of my step daughter's IR2. Petition was approved Feb 16ish and sent to NVC a bit afterwards. Everyone; hubs, his ex and his daughter keep asking me about my step daughter's petition and if we are really going to have her immigrate here. Hub's ex keeps having doubts that we are since immigration is taking, in everyone's eyes, forever.  I keep trying to explain it to them over and over the process. I feel like they think I am holding up this petition when I am not. 

Please correct me if I am wrong, and I really hope I am wrong.

 

Do I need to wait to be assigned a NVC number in order for Warsaw to take ownership? Or could I send an email to Warsaw with our IOE or USCIS case number asking them right now to take ownership?
Is there anything I can do to expedite this case at the NVC or waiting on interview at Warsaw? (I highly doubt it, with the millions that have fleed. And I still think she is ahead most people on this path.)

I'm pretty sure its buried somewhere on these forums. I just want something that is concrete or to help me pointing in the right direction. 

PS Step daughter was asking if her dad was going to send documents to the embassy =\  I have told my step daughter that she should be getting an email from the government(NVC) with the new number when its ready to go. I have even sent her a link to these sub forums so she is able to read the sub forums incase I missed something.

As of March 28th, NVC is working on cases received on March 16th.

I think your notice email might be lost in your box somewhere.

Search for "NVC" in your email.

 

You can also contact NVC and ask for your case and invoice numbers. And also how to get your petition to Warsaw.

 

I'm not sure the embassy will be able to help you with just the IOE numbers.

 

With regards to doubts from your daughter and family, unfortunately this is happening more and more these days as things drag out longer.

I search for NVC and State.gov about 3 times a day, even on weekends; when I wake up, about mid day for me, and before I go to bed. His daughter and I haven't received any emails, and I filed our petition online, its the correct email since I got the notification about her petition approved there as well. When I did hubs petition it took us about a bit more than a month to get his NVC number. I even advised his daughter to keep an eye out for NVC and keep searching for it each day. I'm just hoping ours took a bit to be sent? I feel like I should give it till Thursday, if I hear nothing I should call them.

its taking  a little longer than normal for the notice from NVC with the case # and they may be trying to figure things out as the beginning letters start with the embassy code letters

 

i would call NVC ( (or email them @  l 603- 334-0700 or email NVCInquiry@state.gov. )  if u want it to be Poland embassy

 

there is really nothing u can do to speed this process up

We got our NVC numbers this afternoon via email (no phone call on my behalf), its for Germany, and now hubs is trying to confirm with them (Ex wife and my step Daughter) that if they want it moved to Poland or kept in Germany. Within the NVC website I have a message dates March 6th 2022 8:21:44 EST stating:

 

"A change to the assigned post has generated a new case ID

 

Due to the suspension of immigrant visa operations at the U.S. Embassy in Kyiv, Ukraine, the U.S. Department of State has designated the U.S. Consulate in Frankfurt, Germany to process all visas."
