Oath ceremony

Hi, great people

 

Does anyone know if on the day of oath ceremony at the Los Angeles field office, can someone apply for their passport there or it has to be done at the post office ?

we did not get application for a US passport at our oath ceremony (which it says will be in the welcome packet)  but  we went straight to the post office 

take a photo copy of the naturalization document before u mail out the original
