Hello!

I just joined Visajourney, but been lurking for some time and sometimes go into the rabbit hole to read everyone's stories which I am very grateful for!

My husband and I (Japanese) are just in the starting stages of CR1 and filling in the I-130 at the moment. If anyone can give thoughts about below 3 points, it would be very helpful.

- For the question about having prior social security number, I am going to answer "yes" because I had this when I was in the US with F1 visa. I don't even know if its still valid, but "yes" would be the correct answer, right?

- For the question asking if beneficiary ever was in immigration process, I am thinking F1 is non-immigrant visa, the answer would be "no", right?

- I stayed in Germany on working holiday visa for 5 months a few years ago, but within 5 years. I would need to state the address where I lived in the I-130a form even though the place I stayed was not under my name?

Thanks and hope to go on this visa journey with the community here. Best Wishes!

Thank you :) A few less things to worry about now.

Note it is best to read each question carefully, interpret literally and answer accurately.  For example, you were asked where you lived, not whether the address was in your name.  However, if you were there on a visitor visa, you only visited, not "lived in" that place.

Define "working holiday" in terms of visa category and whether you worked for an employer in Germany, or just worked remotely.

To understand how to advise you, I asked you to, "define "working holiday" in terms of visa category and whether you worked for an employer in Germany, or just worked remotely."  You did not, so nobody knows if you got the advice you needed.
