Hi guys! I am currently petitioning my mom who is already in the US legally. She had her biometrics appointment last month, then we responded to rfe, then now, we received another biometrics appointment for next month. What do you guys think of this? How come she was scheduled another biometrics? Thank you!

We got several of those - most likely reason is FBI rejected the fingerprints

My wife’s fingerprints are somehow impossible to capture.

We repeated biometrics (3) times - AOS 2008, ROC 2010, and on a travel document application in 2014.  The second notice comes in 2-4 weeks after the first set is rejected.  Timing looks and sounds right.

Thanks! What could be done if they’re still having problems with her fingerprints?

After two failures they process the case anyway.  I know for sure they failed twice on our I485 because they asked us to go down to the local police station and get a printed background check.  It cost 3 bucks.
