Hola muchachos!

Hi guys!

I hope that you are having an excellent day.

We received an email from NVC on January 26th letting us know that the birth and marriage certificate were invalid because they were hard to read. Due to this, we re-submitted the documents again on January 27th. Since we are doing this process by ourselves, we would like to ask if anyone has had the same issue and if so, how long did it take NVC to review the documents again.

Thank you for your help.

Because you had to resubmit the birth and marriage certificates which are basic requirements, expect to wait the full round before your next NVC review.  Current wait time estimate is around 3 months -- https://travel.state.gov/content/travel/en/us-visas/immigrate/nvc-timeframes.html

Unfortunately, you’ll have to wait another 3 months for NVC to review the new documents that you submitted.

Btw, what was your submission date?
