    @F3MTL thanks for sharing your experience. If I am not wrong, you used assets to qualify, right? if so, were your assets in the US or foreign country?

    ** CR1/IR1s who have HAD a interview ** Were you required to update your 1864 and reupload it to CEAC after the interview with your most recent tax return (2021) and police check?? The i864 I uploaded in Oct 2021 did not include the 2021 tax return, only 2018, 2019 & 2020 and police checks have expired as well. Thank you!

    Has anyone of you here applied for the immigrant visa (IR1/CR1) and got approved at the interview solely based on your assets/cash in a foreign bank account? Would like to know whether the assets/cash must be held in the US bank account or if they can also be held in a foreign bank account.
