I sincerely hope the non disclosure of the interview dates online is not another bug that was somehow introduced . Also no movement on Jan 2022 from yesterday .

Absolutely everyone else has gotten an interview date online so it seems this might be more of a weird exception than the norm going forward. OR maybe they don't actually have a date scheduled yet because the office has been going so fast, but they're next in line?

I just checked at 6:00 PM PST and see that I did get the interview notice today 😀😀 ,  09/14/2022 in Tukwila. They would schedule the rest of January in the next 10 days at best . We have two young kids , and both me and my wife are scheduled at the exact same time. Now to plan on what to do with the kids 🙂 for a those few hours .

Congrats my friend :) Seattle's USCIS has been eating Popeye's green beans it seems. See you there I guess ;)

Now, I tried to read how to prepare for the interview, and I am still confused between the 2008 and the 2020 version, which one applies to us?

It's the 2008 version. The 2020 version was introduced only for a very short period of time and then removed. Good luck studying!!!

Now I can see a link for 'Interview Scheduled.pdf' under documents, but when I click the link I get this message:

{"data":null,"error":{"developerMessage":null,"userMessage":null}}

So I guess I am seeing a bug. Hoping at least the paper doc comes through. 🤷‍♂️

Oh cool, hey! Looks like our filing dates are only a few days apart so we'll probably receive our notification on the same day! If you're planning to travel after the interview, are you planning to ask for the oath ceremony to be delayed?

That's annoying. I might try a couple different browsers to see if something else works. I suppose you could call and speak to an officer, but it's probably best just to wait. Your date is probably on/after Sept 9 and before Sept 14 (the day people who heard back today are scheduled).

Yeah we probably would get the same date!

I think mine will be delayed anyway since I requested a name change along with my citizenship application (technically just spelling change), I don’t think they’d offer same day oath in this case. If for some reason they will be able to do it the same day I’d ask for a later date!

At the risk of sounding like a broken record , are same day interviews more likely if you have a morning interview ?  Are there specific oath ceremony times in the Seattle Office(Tukwila) or if it adhoc and depends on how many people they are able to marshal into a ceremony at a point in time to optimize things ?

My question is how much time does one need to normally account for the interview and ceremony ?

I've read extensively on VJ and in this thread about the Seattle office, and it seems like there's no pattern. Here are some of the things I've read from feedback from this year about Tukwila:

1. Some people say it looks like USCIS is doing oaths in small batches every hour

2. Some say they were given the oath 1:1 with the officer and then just waited for the certificate.

3. Some say there are 2/3 ceremonies around 2pm and 4pm, and that 2pm is the cut-off for a same day oath.

So it seems no way of knowing for sure. What time is your interview?
