Mine was approved on the 13th and they, NVC, got my packet from VSC yesterday.

The DOS lady was very helpfull to me.

Mine was approved on the 13th and they, NVC, got my packet from VSC yesterday.

The DOS lady was very helpfull to me.

My understanding is that VSC has a very quick turn around when it comes to approvals being sent to NVC...LUCKY DUCK!

CSC is a different story though.

True but at this point if I were them I would be contacting their senator or congressman.

Strange the DOS lady said they got it on the 18th but from the MNL number they entered it into the system on the 17th..

2007851 is actually the 351st day of 2007. The 3 numbers after the year are equal to 500 + the jullian day.

The 3 numbers after the day are indicate the packet number received for that date for that particular embassy.

Yikes, I don't think I'd be too concerned yet (12/4-now is only 2 weeks and 1 day). I thought CSC was filling crates & waiting to send them or something. Has that changed now? I hope so, that sure was crummy of them.

(Ok, I lie I'd be pacing and calling them too. But congressman may be a bit premature at this point.

Yes, it has changed...now it is a shipping container, once filled they load it onto a converted steamship that is powered by four chinchilla and a billy goat. The captain is a retired circus chimpanzee and the navigator is a one eyed pigeon. They hold a world records from CSC to The Cape of Good Hope, but this fact has only even been recognized by the last remaining Dodo and we could not locate him to confirm or comment.

Actually, I don't think this is quite accurate. I'm pretty sure the pigeon has astigmatism.
