It may be that the Consulate will not receive the medical before the interview, now Brazil may be quick.

There are some other threads on VJ that state a medical even a month prior to the interview is fine. Just be aware that clock to enter the US begins ticking from the medical date.

Ok.  So an early exam is allowed .  January exam,  February 8th interview.   She was going to fly out 2 weeks after her interview.   It could work.

my fiance's interview is February 8th. The doctor only has an appointment for the medical exam in January it's more than four days out is this a problem?

Make sure the Doctors office knows when your interview is scheduled and his office will help you.

My (fiancé) wife had her interview the day after the medical exam and I was extremely worried that there would not be time to get the results to the embassy for the interview

But the Doctors office assured us that there was nothing to be worried about and he was correct.

Keep in mind if your fiancé has not had a covid-19 vaccine, they will not be scheduled for an interview.

Also if the fiancé is missing any vaccines required in the US, all those shots have to be completed before the interview.
