Some people said age difference is a red flag so we were scared. My husband is more than 10 years older than me. Also he asked for an non immigrant visa 2 years before. But Our love is more than that. Our love has triumphed.

The interview was set up for 11:30a.m but my husband arrived at the US embassy at 8:30am. He was nervous. After the security check. He gave all the documents necessary for the interview. 5 minutes later the C.O called him.
Questions:
1. Who is your petitioner ? Answered
2. What does she do for living ? Answered
3. How did you meet ? Answered
4. Where are you going to stay ? Answered
After he looked at the pictures and chats. And asked who was at the wedding ? Answered

6- why were the parents missing? Answered.
He sent my husband to someone else in a room he was alone and he  waited 30 min til the other c.o came.
The other C.O asked those questions:
-when did you meet and how ? Answered
- Did your spouse get her high school degree the year you met ? Answered
- Where did she take her university courses. Answered
-Was there an engagement? Yes
-How many siblings does your spouse have ? Answered
- where is she from ? Answered
-when did you met her parents for the first time ? Answered 2018
- So in 2020 when she came back, was it only for the wedding ( yes but also because we couldn’t do one year without seeing each other) my husband showed him the tickets we bought to go in another country to celebrate our wedding anniversary.
- The C.o asked: why didn’t you show this before? And he said you are good. If you had showed this before you wouldn’t have wait so long, the other C.o will call you.

-The initial Co called him and apologize and asked my husband if he already paid for the traditional wedding he was smiling when asking that, my husband said no
He asked is it expensive ? my husband said yes too expensive and both laughed and the C.o said congratulations we have approved your immigrant visa.
I am so grateful. Thank be to God
Good luck y’all!

Ps: Don’t lie to the CO. Be true. And if you really love each other, God will do the rest.
