What letter should i receive from USCIS after N400 interview?

I completed my N400 interview a couple weeks ago. I'm now visiting my parents for a week and saw that I received a 1 page letter from USCIS via informed delivery. I can see that the notice date is the date I applied for citizenship.

I also received an online notification today - "your oath will be scheduled".

I'm just wondering what this letter could be? Could it be the date I must appear for my Oath? Or is there generally another letter before this?

I'm just worried I might have an a oath scheduled for next week!

Thanks

Oath

If you filed online, go to your online account and read it from there. It is the same letter in the mail

Got it, but is it a letter saying an oath WILL be scheduled, or a letter giving me a date to appear for oath?

Not sure what letter it is, if your oath was scheduled already the status would say so, not "Oath WILL be scheduled" (that indicates it hasn't been scheduled yet). You also don't have an oath letter in your online account, so that makes me think even less this letter you're receiving today is the oath letter (you almost always get the letter in your online account before you receive the actual hardcopy).

I don't know how you know the letter is only 1 page, but the oath ceremony letter is 4 pages.

Maybe they sent out another copy of the NOA1 in error?

I could see "page 1 of 1" through the informed delivery picture

Yeah. There are several indications this is not the oath letter.

1. Your status doesn't say an oath has been scheduled.

2. You don't have an oath letter in your online account.

3. The oath letter is 4 pages, not 1. (First page shows date, time and place for the oath. Second page is information. Third page is interpreter's information. Fourth page is for you till fill out and sign the day of your oath ceremony.)

I guess it could be an RFE, but I doubt your status would change to "oath will be scheduled" if they still planned on sending an RFE (you CAN receive an RFE at any point in the process though, even after your interview but before your oath ceremony). Maybe it's a copy of your NOA1 sent in error, I don't know. Is someone home who can open the letter and show it to you?

Sadly no, I have a hold on my mail at the post office. I won't be able to find out until next Sunday. Is a RFE usually 1 page?

I don't know tbh, never received one myself. Did you get an approval notice at the time of the interview? Usually you get a notice showing if you passed the tests and you're recommended for approval OR "a decision cannot be made". If you didn't get this notice in hand at the interview, maybe it's that one? That document is only one page.

I got a "decision cannot be made" because on my N400 application I said that I was living at 2 addresses at the same time back in 2017. I explained that itwas because my in-laws are divorced and have their own houses, me and my wife used to move between the two houses every few weeks and the interviewer found that suspicious.

He said the reason he couldn't approve me on the spot was due to my prior living situation. He said he was going to do some more digging and if everything was okay he'll approve me, if not he said I'll get a RFE.

However, i just got notification today that I was recommended for approval so getting a RFE doesn't make sense...
