Based on the new CDC rules, LGU vaccination cards should be enough if they contain the required info listed below --

All forms of proof of COVID-19 vaccination must have:

  • Personal identifiers (full name plus at least one other identifier such as date of birth or passport number) that match the personal identifiers on the passenger’s passport or other travel documents
  • Name of official source issuing the record (e.g., public health agency, government agency, or other authorized vaccine provider)
  • Vaccine manufacturer and date(s) of vaccination

Details here -- Acceptable Proof of COVID-19 Vaccination (https://www.cdc.gov/coronavirus/2019-ncov/travelers/proof-of-vaccination.html#vaccine-proof)

I just flew here 10/29 and did not need proof of vaccination, only a covid test.

@RO_AH congratulation you made it out before the new  rules took an effect on Nov 8. Now is required to show proof of vaccination before entering the United states.

Also, RO_AH is a USC, so exempted from the vaccination requirement even under the new rules.

In that case I got my wife out just in time too,

Immigrant visa holders are also exempted, along with USCs and LPRs.  It's the K1 visa holders that have uncertain status under the new rules.  Not sure if they'll be treated as immigrants or non-immigrants.
